Students are paid Rs. 50 per month for their work. The general scholarship is worth 550 Tk, and the talent pool group scholarship is worth 1200 Tk.
Scholarships are given out by every education board based on the HSC exam. Bangladesh has one Madrasa Education Board and eight General Education Boards. They are the Dhaka Education Board, the Chittagong Education Board, the Jessore Education Board, the Barisal Education Board, the Comilla Education Board, the Dinajpur Education Board, the Sylhet Education Board, the Rajshahi Education Board, and the Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board.
Important Information and Rules for the HSC Scholarship for 2023
For the HSC Scholarship 2023, candidates must be Bangladeshi citizens. When choosing who gets a scholarship, each student’s honesty and desire to do well in school will be taken into account. All scholarship winners will get one-time grants, and they won’t have to pay tuition fees for the length of the scholarship.
Only full-time students will be considered for this financial aid, which will last for two years. To encourage more women to go to college, 5% of the scholarships have been set aside just for girls. To keep their scholarship, recipients must also go to a school that is recognized by the government.
The government has the right to change, add, or get rid of any of the conditions for the scholarships, including the number, rate, and deadline, without giving any reason. If a student doesn’t accept or claim their scholarship within six months after it ends, the money will go back to the public treasury.
